1. The short version
Reptics does not require a Reptics account, does not run advertising tracking, and does not operate a developer backend that receives your workout history. Core workout data is stored locally on your device.
Some optional features use Apple services such as Apple Health, Game Center, and the App Store. Those services are controlled by Apple and operate under Apple's own privacy terms and the permissions you grant on your device.
2. Data stored on your device
Reptics stores information needed to provide the app's features, including workout sessions, repetition totals, goals, streaks, achievements, settings, and related app state. This information is stored locally using iOS storage made available to the app and its widgets.
Reptics does not send this local workout history to a Reptics-operated server.
3. Camera and proximity sensor
Vision counting
If you choose camera-based counting, Reptics uses the iPhone camera to detect face position and movement for the purpose of counting push-ups. Camera frames are processed on the device for this feature. Reptics does not need to upload those frames to a Reptics server, and the app is not designed to save workout video or photographs from this counting mode.
Proximity counting
If you choose proximity counting, Reptics uses the iPhone proximity sensor to detect when you move close enough to the device to register a repetition.
You can use manual counting instead if you do not want to use the camera or proximity sensor.
4. Optional Apple services
Apple Health
With your permission, Reptics can save completed workout information to Apple Health. Health data is accessed only through Apple's HealthKit APIs and according to the permissions you choose in iOS. Reptics does not use Health data for advertising.
Game Center
If you use Game Center features, Apple may process your Game Center identity and leaderboard activity. Reptics can submit eligible scores or achievements to Game Center. Your Game Center account and related service data are managed by Apple.
App Store purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Reptics can read the purchase entitlement needed to unlock paid features, but Reptics does not receive your full payment-card details.
Notifications
If you allow workout reminders, Reptics may schedule local notifications on your device. You can change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Reptics is not designed to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The current app does not include developer-operated advertising tracking or a third-party product analytics SDK.
If this changes in a future release, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the new data practice is introduced.
6. This website
The Reptics website is a static informational site. Reptics does not add an application-level analytics tracker, advertising pixel, account system, or contact form to this site.
The hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, request time, browser information, and requested URL, under the provider's own terms and infrastructure practices.
7. Children
Reptics is a general fitness utility and is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly operate a system intended to collect personal information from children through a Reptics account or backend because the app does not provide such an account system.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
